A standing tower that trades floor area for growing area, in polypropylene.
A vertical tower grows upward from a small footprint, so the growing area is set by the height of the room rather than by the area of the floor. Where floor space is the constraint -- a terrace, a shed, a rented unit -- that is the whole argument for it.
The second advantage is less obvious and matters day to day: everything on a tower is at working height or close to it, so inspection, harvesting and cleaning happen standing up rather than bent over a bed.
